Job Posting Details The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering is looking for high calibres to fill the positions of Research Assistant. The appointees will work closely with multi-disciplinary team members; develop scalable solution that integrates with traffic simulation software written in C++; engage in front-end and back-end development and maintenance; and perform any other duties as assigned.

Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in computer science / computer engineering / information engineering or relevant disciplines with knowledge in python web frameworks and databases (SQL). The ideal candidates should be self-motivated and well-organized team players with problem-solving skills. Knowledge in ML algorithm, cloud computing (AWS) and/or C++ Qt is a plus. Prior working experience in the industry will be recognized. Immediate availability for appointment is preferred. (Duration: 1 year) Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.
