Job purpose:

To provide leadership and management for Health Training of Training Centre. S/he works closely with the Senior Manager (Training Centre) to lead development and execution of ERB Training to support the Hong Kong Red Cross in delivering its humanitarian services to fulfill its vision and mission. S/he has to ensure the departmental goals have been successfully achieved in an effective and efficiency way.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise staff to execute service development plan, implementation plan and service evaluation based on the Hong Kong Red Cross Corporate Strategic Plan
  • Lead and oversee the implementation of ERB training related strategies, including explore and develop new initiatives, assure training quality and efficiency, and continuous improvement and enhancement to meet social needs and community expectations
  • Lead and guide assistant managers and training executives in providing quality customer services and handling all ERB training related issues in the training centre
  • Lead and supervise trainers/volunteers in providing health, nursing and public health related training / service delivery
  • Establish and maintain effective relationship with stakeholders, including ERB, corporates, trainers, institutions, service teams of the Agency etc. to gain knowledge, collaboration and support

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences discipline
  • Minimum 5 years’ post-graduation and relevant work experience, in which at least 3 years at supervisory level
  • Sound experiences in managing and overseeing ERB courses
  • Good knowledge and experiences in managing and developing health-related training course
  • Knowledge and experiences in managing the operation of a training centre and handling customers’ enquiry and complaint
  • Mature personality, strategic-minded with vision, strong interpersonal, management and leadership skills
  • Excellent command of both written and oral English, Chinese/Cantonese/Putonghua
