Job Title: Education Development Officer

Job Posting Details The Center for Education Innovation is hiring an Education Development Officer to support the grant-funded teaching development projects and to conduct university teaching skills training to graduate teaching assistants. The main duties are to coordinate tasks related to the teaching development projects; keep track of the development progress of the funded projects; work collaboratively with project teams; provide sound instructional advice to the project leaders; and support the evaluation activities of the projects. The appointee is also expected to perform teaching duties in the graduate teaching assistant teaching training program.

Applicants should possess a bachelor's degree in education or a related area with at least 3 years of post-degree teaching/instructional experience, preferably in higher education. Candidates with up-to-date knowledge of active learning pedagogies; experience implementing experiential learning in courses/programs; and a good understanding of assessment techniques in higher education will be advantageous. A high level of proficiency in both spoken and written English is essential. The appointee must be a dynamic learner with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills who can concurrently manage multiple assignments. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test in English. (Duration: 2 years, renewable) Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
