Job description

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage an underwriting team, ensuring high-quality service to sales channels.
• Monitor team performance to meet service level agreements and maintain excellence.
• Conduct risk assessments and underwrite cases within your authority.
• Provide coaching and guidance to junior underwriters for their development.
• Participate in projects, implement underwriting initiatives, and analyze performance data.

Requirements:

• University degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in life insurance underwriting, with at least 4 years in a supervisory role.
• Professional qualification in Life Insurance, such as FLMI (Fellow, Life Management Institute).
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese, with proficiency in Putonghua being advantageous.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Chinese word processing.
