Job description

Our client, a rapidly-growing crypto firm, is looking for an experienced person in Crypto Trade Operations to join their Prime Brokerage team.

The role mainly involves providing operational support to prime brokerage services to ensure smooth client onboarding. The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of the crypto exchange, trade reconciliation as well as FIX Protocol.

Job Duties

• Trade Execution Support - execute crypto trades accurately, monitor trade flow and resolve any trade issues and implement processes for trade reconciliation and settlement
• Prime Brokerage Services - assist in the onboarding process for new prime brokerage clients including account setup and configuration, and work closely with clients to address their concerns
• FIX Protocol - coordinate with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve any FIX-related issues, participate in system enhancements and upgrades related to the FIX protocol
• Trade Reconciliation - perform routine trade reconciliation activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as front office, middle office, and settlements to ensure accurate matching of trades
• Client Support and Post-Trade Analytics - work closely with the Head of Operations to deliver exceptional client support and create post-trade analytics reports for clients to provide them with valuable insights

Job Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience in operations support within crypto trading industry

• Strong understanding of crypto exchange landscape including crypto platforms and order types

• Experience with prime brokerage services and trade reconciliation processes

• Knowledge of FIX protocol and its application in trading systems

• Experience with relevant software and tools for trade execution

• Attention to detail and display accuracy in performing operational tasks

• Strong communication skills with proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
