About the Role

To supervise various pension scheme finance payment and collection, monitoring and reporting for AIA's pension scheme, manage the implementation of special business projects on pension scheme including eMPF, new platform migration, launch of digitalization payment initiatives, process transformation and automation, integration of supporting team, to be carried out effectively and timely.

Responsibilities: - Coach, supervise and manage staff directly on daily operational issues to ensure that assigned tasks are carried out properly, timely and adequate financial controls are in place.

  • Process the contribution and payments with third party banks at the pension scheme
  • Manage implementation of various initiatives, process transformation and improvement for pension scheme finance operations
  • Reply query or questionnaire to other departments, Group Office, regulator i.e. MPFA, SFC, custodians, banks, internal auditors and insurance authority
  • Ensure that tasks assigned to subordinates and assigned projects are completed within planned schedule
  • Timely review of reconciliation and take proper follow up actions for problems/ issues identified thereafter for scheme account
  • Ensure regular reporting, MPFA returns and year end financial statements are being prepared accurately and submitted on a timely basis
  • Regular review of existing procedures and workflow and providing recommendations to senior to streamline existing procedures and/or propose system automation projects to improve efficiency
  • Enhance the Technology, Digital and Analytics for the investment services, for management reporting and various committee meetings
  • Monitor progress system testing and ensure proper and timely implementation of new system.
  • Coordinate and improve team spirit and group work efficiency.
  • Identify and solve accounting and audit issues independently
  • Communicate with internal department and bank on the handling of ad hoc operation process
  • Perform any other duties and projects as assigned

Requirement: - University graduate with major in Accountancy and accounting professional qualification with minimum 8 years experience in accounting and / or auditing preferably with treasury, finance and system automation experience

  • Over 3 years post qualification management experience
  • Proficient in both spoken & written English & Chinese
  • Good computer skill. Familiar with banking systems and SAP are preferred
  • Self-motivated and be able to work under tight schedule and pressure
  • Good supervisory and interpersonal skills
