UNIVERSITY ADVANCEMENT OFFICE

Senior Officer (23240363)

Responsibilities:

• Execute plans to enhance public recognition and support of the University;
• Initiate and implement publicity plans of the University’s strategic development, new initiatives and advancement projects;
• Strengthen ties with donors and donor prospects via stewardship activities, social media, engagement correspondences, e-Newsletters and publications; and
• Content creation and production of high-quality publicity and promotional materials, including but not limited to, corporate videos, roving exhibitions, annual reports, brochures and leaflets. 

Requirements:

• Possess a recognised bachelor’s degree, preferably with a higher degree, in Language, Translation, Communication, Public Relations, Marketing or a related discipline with at least 5 years of relevant work experience;
• Have an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua);
• Have a sound knowledge of social media platforms and proficiency in computing applications are essential;
• Possess strong communication, presentation and problem-solving skills;
• Be a good and dynamic team player who is highly self-motivated and detail-minded; and
• Be able to work independently as well as with stakeholders at all levels and meet tight schedules.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.

Reference salary range: HK$30,000 – HK$45,000

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
