Job description

The Fullerton Hotels and Resorts owns and operates two award-winning hotels in Singapore: The Fullerton Hotel Singapore (opened in 2001) and The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore (opened in 2010). Both hotels anchor the historic and cultural Fullerton Heritage precinct, located in Marina Bay - the heart of Singapore’s city centre. The Fullerton Hotel Sydney debuted in October 2019, in the historic former Sydney General Post Office, marking The Fullerton Hotels and Resorts’ first international expansion.

The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong will be the first waterfront resort on Hong Kong Island, with over 400 guest rooms overlooking the spectacular South China Sea, located at the foot of the city’s most popular attraction in the Southside.

Responsibilities

• Planning, organizing and controlling the cleaning, hygiene and maintenance functions within the scope of stewarding throughout the hotel. Ensure proper use of chemicals, tools and equipment
• Developing and updating all Job Descriptions in stewarding periodically; reviewing job arrangements to achieve the desired level of productivity as required
• Maintaining effective communication between stewarding and other departments to achieve maximum collaboration
• Ensuring that back-of-the-house of F&B outlets, kitchen area, receiving area and garbage chamber are inspected daily and that all health and safety-related regulations and the hotel’s sanitation standards are met
• Monitoring waste management ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and the hotel’s standards
• Ensuring that proper par stock for cleaning supplies and F&B operational equipment are maintained

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience in stewarding gained from prestigious hotels or F&B industries including at least 3 years in a similar position
• Strong leadership skills and highly organized
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good knowledge of HACCP, dishwasher, potwasher and cleaning machines application
• Fluency in Cantonese and English
