The successful candidate will lead various IT functions to envision, design and implement robust IT services for the Bank and its subsidiaries in Hong Kong and overseas.

Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and drive competitive & effective IT strategies and roadmaps aligned to the Bank’s business strategies as well as corporate priorities.
  • Take accountability for managing all IT solutions activities for the Bank and its subsidiaries in Hong Kong and overseas.
  • Ensure all IT solutions are designed, built, deployed, operated and supported in an agile and efficient way that ensure the Bank’s Group could realise sustainable business value as well as regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare and monitor the IT Budget to ensure adequate resources (monetary, technical and manpower, etc.) are allocated to implement IT plans and projects in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Establish and maintain effective partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop IT related framework, policies, guidelines and standards to ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines, MBA is a plus.
  • Holder of PMP, ECF-Fintech is preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years’ solid IT experience, with not less than 8 years at senior management level, ideally from banking / financial services sector.
  • Proven experience in managing a large team of technology professionals (that include in-house, external, off-shore resources) to drive strategic IT projects and solutions.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of all-round IT functions and the latest technology concepts, trends and capabilities.
  • Strong financial and business acumen, critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • Proven leadership, interpersonal, people management, communication skills.
  • A growth mindset that seeks continuous improvements, opportunities to learn, and greater challenges to solve.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
