Job description

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join a leading international insurance company in the role of Manager in the Reporting Team, Life. The primary focus of this position will be managing reporting functions, including reserving, management reporting, and involvement in projects related to Risk-Based Capital (RBC).

Responsibilities:

1. Manage reporting functions for the reserving function, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
2. Oversee management reporting duties, including the preparation of reports for internal stakeholders.
3. Play a key role in project-related activities, contributing expertise in reporting and RBC.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support RBC initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives.
5. Analyze data and provide insights to support decision-making processes within the department.
6. Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes related to reporting and RBC.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics/Actuarial Science or Statistics.
2. Associate of an international recognized professional actuarial association
3. Familiar with Hong Kong RBC and IFRS17 would be an asset
4. Strong understanding of reserving principles and reporting requirements.
5. Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
6. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
7. Adaptable, flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced and frequently changing business environment
8. Ability to deal with and handle multiple priorities
