Client Details

Our client is a major insurance company in Hong Kong with regional offices across Asia Pacific. They are looking for a candidate with financial accounting and finance projects experience to ensure accurate execution of cost allocations across multiple business units and to lead finance related projects, such as process re-designing and new system implementations.

Description

• Lead yearly planning, monthly/quarterly forecasting, and financial administration for Group Technology
• Engage in discussions with department heads, Group HR, Group Finance, and other business units to ensure interdepartmental alignment
• Lead process re-engineering and system implementation projects
• Monitor, analyze, and report financials, addressing significant variances and providing advice for corrective actions
• Collaborate with department heads for headcount planning, personnel cost control, and negotiation across locations
• Drive the redesign of cost tracking processes, standardizing them for efficiency and control
• Independently interact with c-level executives, providing information and reporting as needed
• Manage end-to-end contractor management and recruitment processes, ensuring accurate billings
• Prepare coordination timetables, monitor period and closing deliverables, and communicate with project owners on cost allocations
• Ensure compliance with the reporting frameworks and accurate cost allocation during financial closing
• Publish accurate and timely management reports, including ad hoc reports, and support the creation of dashboards

Profile

• 6+ years of experience in financial accounting/operations, management reporting and finance projects implementation
• 2+ years of experience in delivering forecast or planning cycles
• Prior experience in managing contractors and recruitment processes
• Prior experience in process re-engineering and process mapping
• Strong communication skills in English and Cantonese are mandatory
• Proactive, independent and strong relationship management skills
