Job Title: Officer (MSc Learning Hub) (two positions)

Job Posting Details The MSc Learning Hub is strategically located in Kwun Tong, the emerging central business district, and offers MSc students a unique learning experience as a bridge to the commercial world. Fully equipped with classrooms, meeting rooms, and open workspaces, the MSc Learning Hub is designed to cater to the needs of different stakeholders.

The MSc Programs is currently recruiting two Officers for the MSc Learning Hub:

Position 1: The appointee will provide administrative and operational support for the MSc Learning Hub. Duties include classroom and venue booking and arrangement, providing onsite support to classes and events, setting up venue, handling inquiries of faculty, guests, and students, and providing general administrative support for the MSc Learning Hub. The appointee will also perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and management.

Position 2: The appointee will provide audio-visual technical support for classes and general administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the MSc Learning Hub. Duties include setting up venue and equipment for programs/events; providing in-class support to the teaching faculty (setting up AV and laptops, etc.); and providing general administrative, clerical and logistic support to the general office. The appointee will also perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and management.

Requirements Position 1: Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the education sector or facility management with basic computer knowledge.

Position 2: Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experience in computer or facilities support. Previous technical support experience on digital audio and video equipment is an advantage. They should possess advanced knowledge of modern AV technology.

The appointees of the two positions will be required to work on shift and occasionally on weekends and public holidays. Working outside normal office hours is required.

The ideal candidates for the two positions should be good team players who are highly motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and a problem-solving mindset. The appointees should have good interpersonal skills, and a strong ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment independently. Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese is a must. The appointees should also be proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. (Duration: 2 years, renewable) Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided where applicable. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
