Hong Kong Football Club (HKFC) was founded in 1886 with a mission to facilitate the development of sporting activities in Hong Kong. Our vision is to be recognised as one of the leading not-for-profit sports clubs in the world. We started with two main sports: rugby and soccer, and with the dedication and enthusiasm of our members, we have evolved into a club which promotes, hosts and plays a total of 11 different sports including hockey, squash, lawn bowls, netball, tennis, badminton, swimming and triathlon, golf and tenpin bowling.

Regarded as one of the finest sporting clubs in Asia, the 64,000-square-metre Club building offers the largest range of facilities among all the sports clubs in Hong Kong. HKFC not only provides Hong Kong with a world-class venue for many major international sports events, such as Rugby Tens and Soccer Sevens tournaments, but also plays a key contributor to Hong Kong’s thriving sporting and social community.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the membership sales target and revenue for the centre and membership sales; analyse membership data, fee structures, budgets, and member satisfaction.
  • Assist the Director of Membership for strategic planning to increase business performance from Membership Acquisition, Membership Engagement and on boarding Journey enhancement.
  • Provide support in developing business strategies to sustain business growth and work closely with team to drive the sales and train the team on customer relationship building
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere and facilitate the team to build up strong rapport with members and guests
  • Ensures the efficient administration of membership applications, fees and data with support the accounting functions
  • Obtain members’ feedback during operations to ensure satisfaction
  • Attend pre-sales activities and Members’ programs whenever required to understanding customer behavior and needs including existing Members or potential customers
  • Undertake other duties as assigned by Management

Experience

  • Degree holder in Sales and Marketing or related disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in similar capacity or with supervisory responsibilities in up-scale private membership club or hospitality operations
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with business acumen
  • Strong in leadership skill to drive for continuous improvement in customer service and business performance
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills and equipped with can-do attitude
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Good command of spoken & written English and Chinese, Putonghua knowledge would be an advantage
  • Knowledge in Aspen membership system would be an advantage
