The Job

  • Manage the Section to handle day-to-day application issues in accordance with Housing Society’s policies.
  • Screen and approve applications for G-list; Government Development Clearance Exercises (GDC); Dedicated Rehousing Estates (DREs); Senior Citizen Residences Scheme (SEN); “T-Home” Transitional Rental Housing Scheme; “T-Home” Letting Scheme for Subsidised Sale Developments with Premium Unpaid; Subsidised Sale Flats Projects (SSF); remaining Loan Schemes; Starter Homes Projects (SHP) / Private Subsidised Sale Flats Projects (PSSF) as Government Agent etc. in accordance with Housing Society’s policies and guidelines set out by Development Bureau, where applicable.
  • Plan and prepare the launching of new projects and schemes and the subsequent administration.
  • Oversee the operation of various work teams on handling applications forms and monitor the performance of AOs/CSOs/SCSOs.
  • Provide timely responses to applicants’ queries in order to provide good customer service.
  • Act as Commissioner of Oaths for G-list; GDC; DREs; SEN; T-Home” Transitional Rental Housing Scheme; T-Home” Letting Scheme for Subsidised Sale Developments with Premium Unpaid; SSF; TOV; RAS; WTP applicants.
  • Prepare and compile periodic reports to the Management and Development Bureau and Housing Bureau.
  • Prepare and monitor the revenue and expenditure budget.
  • Supervise, coach and develop staff under his/ her charge.
  • Review and recommend procedures and practice in handling applications for senior’s approval & carry out any other duties as assigned by seniors.
  • Liaise with colleagues from other Sections for coordinative works

The Person

  • Professional qualification in Housing Management such as MCIH, MHKIH, RPHM.
  • 8 years experience in property management with at least 2 years in supervisory role.
  • Good business and political sense.
  • Service oriented, good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to negotiate or liaise with internal and external parties at all levels.
