A number of leading chain stores offer an extensive range of goods, including home appliances, TVs and gaming equipment, hair dryers and straighteners as well as massage chairs and foot massagers.

Standout independent retailers include the Mongkok Computer Centre, a three-storey shopping mall that houses around 70 retailers selling everything from PCs to cameras. South of the Mong Kong Computer Centre, you’ll find the Sino Centre, which is a great stop-off for gadgets and mobile accessories. While you’re here, head up to the second and third floors and shop for comics and toys.

Need to get your laptop fixed, or mend a broken phone screen? Then head to one of the services shops in Wan Chai’s 298 Computer Zone, where staff can also help with software issues.

For good deals on software equipment and computer games, try the Golden Computer Arcade in Sham Shui Po, which is widely regarded locally as a shopper’s paradise for gamers. At this retro-style space, you’ll also find old computers and parts as well as vintage game consoles.
