Get Groceries

Hong Kong has a wide variety of supermarkets and stand-alone food stores where you can pick up groceries and household essentials. At the largest major chains, you’ll find all your basics, like bread, milk, rice, pasta and fruit & vegetables, along with cleaning products and self-care essentials like soap, body wash and shampoo. If you’re looking for a wider range of international goods and a greater selection of organic produce and premium imported goods, then head to Central, Causeway Bay, and Tsim Sha Tsui for a solid range of specialist supermarkets, or the Elements Mall and Stanley Plaza.

There are other Japanese supermarket chains in the city in Lok Fu, Yuen Long, and Tseung Kwan O. If you prefer to shop for groceries online, you can make in-app purchases with just a few clicks via several popular shopping platforms. You’ll get your groceries delivered for free if you spend around HK$500 or more.

For meat and seafood from Australia and Norway, head to Happy Valley and Ap Lei Chau. There are also places where you can pick up artisan French cheeses in Sheung Wan, and stores stocking Italian groceries so you can enjoy your favourite fromage and make authentic Italian plates in the comfort of your own Hong Kong home.
