As Asia’s dining capital, Hong Kong plays host to a wide range of F&B events, from the annual Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival to more specialist events including beer and whisky festivals.
Partnering with more than 700 bars and restaurants in the city, the Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival encourages you to book a table at restaurants you have been meaning to try or drop by for a cocktail at that hip new bar, with attractive deals on wine and food pairings and craft cocktails.
The Hong Kong Whisky Festival, held at the InterContinental Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui, hosts masterclasses from whisky experts around the world. It showcases more than 1,000 global expressions of the popular spirit, with bottles from Scotland, Ireland, Japan, Taiwan, and more available to sample.
If you adore your IPAs and pale ales, then watch for the Beer Festival at Chong Street Market in Taikoo Place in October, where you can try ales from local brewers and find the perfect snack to accompany them.
Wine enthusiasts should not miss the wine tasting events and dinners hosted by wine societies and retailers. They offer tips on how to enjoy your favourite vintages.
