Cathay Pacific, a leading player in the aviation industry, is seeking a Digital Manager, Automation to join our dynamic team. The Digital Manager, Automation will be responsible for overseeing the automation of digital processes and enhancing the efficiency of our digital operations. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and innovative environment, contributing to the advancement of automation technologies within the aviation industry.

• Support the Head of Digital, Procurement, Finance & GBS to run the Hyper-automation Centre of Excellence and sharing best practices to help business units adopt digital innovation solutions that automate day-to-day operations.
• Work closely with different BU’s stakeholders on process improvement to enable agility and cost savings

Key Responsibilities

• Define a company-wide product vision and roadmap for adopting automation technologies in Cathay as a Product Owner for Automation
• Should own hyper-automation COE operating model
• Define the operating model for automation COE, including governance
• Lead the team of business analysts to collect requirements and identify potential opportunities from BUs
• Evaluate the potential automation initiatives and work with the Scrum master to prioritise the product backlog
• Oversee the development of all automation initiatives to ensure the deliverables align with the product vision and achieve intended business objectives
• Conduct market research and develop plans to introduce new automation technologies and good industry practices
• As a Digital Manager, you will be responsible for managing and executing Hyper automation projects across various domains and functions.
• You will Implement our overall vision and strategy around Hyper automation, leveraging different tools and proven best practices. Hyper automation scope should cover RPA, AI-based automation, Intelligent Document processing, Process mining, Machine learning and others
• You will establish practice, processes and tools for the citizen developer program. You will need to foster cross-functional team collaboration to achieve key measures of success for citizen development. You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and automation vendors to understand the requirements, design the solution, and oversee the implementation.
• Manage the Finance digital roadmap, a portfolio of transformation initiatives, working with SMEs from different Finance streams together with Digital and IT teams
• Champion transformation efforts amongst the organization and drive the innovation mindset
• You will leverage your expertise in RPA, Intelligent Document Processing, and other AI technologies to create scalable, efficient, and reliable automation solutions.
• You will also monitor and measure the performance, benefits, and ROI of the automation solutions and provide continuous improvement suggestions.
• You will be an automation evangelist, promoting the adoption and awareness of automation across the organisation.
• You will support the Head of Digital to foster an innovation culture by using hyper-automation tools and process

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of working experience in Digital or IT, preferably in areas of automation, AI, ML, Process mining, hyper automation
• Domain knowledge of Aviation is desirable
• Must have worked on different automation tools, for example: UiPath, Blue prism, automation anywhere and others
• Should have worked in establishing hyper-automation COE
• Experience in project delivery and conducting workshops with understanding of existing digital landscape within Cathay.
• Great team player with ability to inspire, build trust, and promote collaboration among stakeholders in IT, Digital, and business units in Customer Travel and Lifestyle streams.
• Proactive, fast learning, independent, and passion for digital excellence.
• Take ownership, resourceful and decisive with excellent influencing, interpersonal, and time management skills.
