The Role

We are seeking a Python Trading System Engineer to join our dynamic team at our Hong Kong office. As a Python Trading System Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance trading systems for the cryptocurrency market. Proficiency in Python is essential, and knowledge of either C# or C++ will be advantageous. This is a unique opportunity to work in a rapidly evolving industry alongside some of the brightest minds in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our team of traders and engineers to develop and maintain high-frequency trading systems and strategies.
• Write, optimize, and maintain trading algorithms in Python, with the ability to work in C# or C++ as needed.
• Implement risk management and monitoring tools to ensure the safety of trading activities.
• Work on performance tuning and latency reduction to maintain our competitive edge.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during trading operations.
• Stay up-to-date with market trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our trading systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience working with Python in a trading environment along with secondary C# or C++ skills.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, trading algorithms, and risk management.
• Experience with cryptocurrency trading and knowledge of trading protocols and exchange connectivity is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
