Calling for IT Procurement Professionals to join a Leading Listed Commercial Company for the Group IT Procurement Manager role!

Client Details

Our client is a Leading HK Listed Commercial company with strong Procurement team in place. They are now looking for a Group IT Procurement Manager to lead the IT Procurement team to ensure cost-effective solutions and maintain highest standards of quality and compliance.

Description

• Develop and implement strategic procurement plans for IT infrastructure in alignment with the company's overall objectives
• Manage a team of experienced hires with coaching and development
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term partnerships to ensure reliable and cost-effective procurement
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT teams, finance, and legal departments, to understand requirements, specifications, and budget constraints for IT procurement projects
• Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and cost savings
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and supplier performance evaluation
• Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines
• Monitor and analyze procurement metrics, such as cost savings, vendor performance, and contract compliance, and provide regular reports to senior management
• Mitigate risks and resolve any issues related to IT procurement, including supplier disputes, quality concerns, and delivery delays
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to IT procurement

Profile

• Bachelor's degree holder
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT procurement, preferably within a sizeable company
• Proven experience in leadership on experienced team
• Strong knowledge of IT procurement processes, including RFPs, RFQs, contract negotiation, and supplier management
• Familiarity with IT systems and infrastructure, software licensing, hardware procurement, and cloud services
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
• Highly fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
