Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Chief Systems Operations Planning Engineer, the appointee will perform the following responsibilities:

• To assist in outage program preparation work, substation and network diagram coordination, and process point requisition for Energy Management System (EMS) and Distribution Management System (DMS)
• To conduct the power system security assessment
• To provide development and improvement plans for system operation supporting systems
• To support the development of IT applications and re-engineering initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines leading to Corporate Membership of HKIE or equivalent
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in operation, control, planning and/or other relevant areas in power industry
• Proficiency in Computer Aided Drawing Software and/or Microsoft Excel application
• Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written

Working Location: Ap Lei Chau, transportation to be provided

Applicant with lower academic qualification or less working experience will be considered as System Control Engineer II.
