About Hong Kong International Aviation Academy

Established and managed by the Airport Authority (AA), the Hong Kong International Aviation Academy (HKIAA) is Hong Kong’s first civil aviation academy.

Partnering with local and overseas education bodies, vocational training institutions, industry practitioners and other organisations, the HKIAA offers a comprehensive aviation-related curriculum – including summer day camps, placement programmes, professional certificate courses and more advanced programmes.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver Theoretical Knowledge Instruction to CPL/ATPL training programme
• Maintain students’ training records in a timely and accurate manner
• Manage the planning of student and practical training activities
• Monitor student progress and schedule progress tests
• Prepare, maintain, and update courseware and training materials to ensure compliance with the regulatory syllabus and current industry practices
• Participate in training and professional development of standardization in collaboration with other business stakeholders
• Assist in the programme and course administration planning; and
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Director, Flight Training and Engineering or his delegates

Requirements:

• A recognized degree or equivalent professional qualifications
• At least five years’ service in aviation and flight training experience, preferably related to technical knowledge of ATPL
• A proven record in instructing aviation courses, preferably as part of a Flight Training Organization (FTO), and teaching EASA ATPL technical knowledge subjects will be an advantage
• Efficient skill in Microsoft, particularly construction of PowerPoint as training materials, is essential
• Possession of Professional Pilot License will be an advantage
