An international Bank is seeking for Trade Finance Operations Manager to manage a team of 5. Candidate with more than 10 years trade operations experience are preferred

Responsibilities:

• Work on Trade Operations (Imports, Exports, Letters of Credit, Guarantees and Bills for collection, Risk Participation).
• Oversee any Trade Finance Officers to ensure high quality of service to customers on time.
• Responsible for processing Trade Finance transactions complying with the International Chamber of Commerce rules and with the Bank's policies and procedures.
• Responsible for ensuring that all trade finance activities are conducted strictly in line with bank credit lines granted to the customers including organizing, supervising and directing the activities of bills processing, import and export financing, establishment of letters of credits in addition to attending to customers' inquiries.
• Observe that all related applications and documents presented by customer are in line with policy as well as to provide oversight of the daily work and activities of the Trade Operations to ensure that the business is carried out in compliance with policies, rules and regulations.
• Rrovide back-up support to Treasury Operations and assist in the processing of fixed deposit placements/rollovers/maturities, etc., as and when required

Requirements:- University graduate in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field of study.

• Minimum 8 years relevant experience in Trade Finance Operations
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (including report writing) in English; with applicable local language highly desirable but not required.
• Technical and practical knowledge of UCP, ISP, URR, Incoterms, URDG and URC, current revisions.
• Understanding and working knowledge of various Trade Finance related processing systems including WorldCheck.
• Solid knowledge of Trade Finance products and services.
• Effective management skills, strong initiative and analytical skills
