Responsibilities:
- Assist the Team Head in overseeing the IT Operations team to ensure smooth running of all systems and hardware, and end user services are delivered effectively and efficiently.
- Manage and monitor the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of computer equipment, servers, storage devices, and networking equipment, etc.
- Perform evaluation and selection of vendors for computer equipment and accessories in terms of pricing, quality and services to optimize cost effectiveness.
- Establish and review the standards and methods for security and backup management to ensure adequate control on data and physical assets are in place.
- Prepare regular reports and analysis such as inventory, data centre operations, performance metrics, incidents, etc.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments; identify areas for improvement with solutions.
- Ensure resource planning meets the Bank's needs and development and all activities comply with internal and external policies and guidelines.
- Perform ad hoc assignments as required.
Requirements:
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in IT operations or service delivery with team management, preferably in banking or financial institutions.
- Knowledge of current technological development and trends.
- Self-motivated, problem-solving and able to work independently.
- Strong organisational skills including the ability to plan, prioritize and schedule activities to achieve deliverables.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders and resolve interpersonal conflict.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Candidates with more experience may be considered as Vice President.
