Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily trading functions for High Touch and Low Touch cash equities as well as the F&O desk.
• Conduct early morning connectivity checks for exchanges and provide support for Asian markets as needed.
• Manage and maintain OMS, EMS, and middleware systems.
• Implement mandatory upgrades driven by exchange requirements.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to facilitate software upgrades and establish connectivity with various exchanges and external brokers.
• Actively participate in weekend testing for OMS/EMS systems, including both internal and external activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in a broker/dealer setting, with a strong focus on supporting OMS/EMS trading systems.
• In-depth understanding of the cash equity business in DMA/DSA, agency, and program trading environments.
• Familiarity with exchange regulations across Asian markets, including HK, JP, KR, SG, TW, AU, IN, and ID.
• Solid comprehension of trade flow systems essential for DMA/DSA trade booking, particularly in ID markets like CONNECT, Korea, Taiwan, and India.
• Experience with HKEX projects and related exchange-driven activities.
• Proficient in system monitoring tools such as Kibana, Grafana, Logstash, Elasticsearch, and ITRS.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a high-pressure trading environment.
• Willingness to take on additional trade support roles as needed.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with vendors and traders.

Additional Skills

• Understanding of swap, futures, and options businesses in DMA and DSA order flows.
• Awareness of the SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) model.
• Basic knowledge of FIX protocol is a plus.
• Familiarity with change and incident management tools like ServiceNow and enterprise messaging systems like Tibco and Solace.
• Proficient in Oracle (user level), SQL, and stored procedures.
• Knowledgeable in Unix/Linux, shell scripting, and Perl.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python and Java.
