Key Responsibilities

● Manage Hong Kong, Singapore & Tokyo branches Balance Sheets in compliance with regulations and internal policies. Coordinate with Shanghai and Taipei branches in various initiatives.

● Check & verify work of the junior, including entries for various hedgings of the Banking book and all liquidity management

● Coordinate with Operations Department to ensure smooth execution and settlement of treasury transactions

● Optimize branches Funding cost through available sources. Among others developing business relationships with interbank counterparties and investors in order to maximize credit lines from the markets.

● Liaise with Finance and Global ALM to ensure that all internal Policies are timely and properly deployed in Asian branches

Qualifications & Experience

● BS Degree holder in Science, Engineering or Business

● 15y+ years of experience in Liquidity management and/or Treasury functions in the region

● Experience in a foreign bank’s branch in Hong Kong or Asia

● Good understanding of local treasury regulations

Knowledge & Skills

● Strong Technical product knowledge

● Bloomberg, Reuters & treasury front office applications

● Fluent in English is a must. Chinese and/or Spanish are a plus
