Job Responsibilities

• Compile and present comprehensive financial reports to stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Analyse current financial status by collecting and reviewing information from balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other operational reports
• Take an active role in the year-end audit process, coordinating with external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Manage taxation matters, ensuring timely and accurate filing of tax returns via tax consultants
• Prepare detailed budgets, forecasting financial needs and monitoring actualization to ensure alignment with projections
• Provide regular updates and reports on budget performance to senior management
• Oversee the CAPEX cycle, including planning, approval, and tracking of capital expenditures
• Maintain the fixed assets register, ensuring accurate recording and reporting of asset information
• Manage the month-end process for SWB and fixed assets-related entries, ensuring timely and accurate completion
• Reconcile accounts and prepare month-end financial statements that complies with compliance with IHH and local financial reporting standards, policies, and procedures
• Handle other ad hoc assignments as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet organizational needs

Requirements

• Qualified accountant with a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a hospital environment. Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is highly desirable
• Strong grasp of accounting and financial practices and regulations
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and general accounting systems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese
• Experience in system/workflow implementation is an advantage
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Good communication, systematic, and organizational skills
• Proactive, independent, and a good team leader
• Detail-oriented, professional, and analytical
