Recruitment of Native-speaking English Teacher (Non-EDB NET Scheme) / English Language Teaching Assistant (ELTA) in a local primary school.

Applications must be native-speaking English teachers processing the following qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree preferably in English from a local university or equivalent
• A relevant teacher training qualifications (e.g. PGDE/TEFL/TESL) preferred
• Experience of teaching English in local primary schools

Job Descriptions:

• Co-planning and co-teaching with local teachers
• Cultivating an English rich environment
• Promoting reading around the school such as maintaining book clubs and editing school newsletter
• Helping to run fun English-based activities, e.g. English Day, lunch-time story-telling sessions
• Having teaching experience in Hong Kong primary school; experience in coaching drama/ debates/ choral speaking / puppetry would be an advantage
