• We are looking for ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - with details as follows :

THE JOB :

• Reporting to US
• Work based in one vendor factory in Dongguan
• Develop and implement rigorous safety testing protocols for lighting products, ensuring compliance with UL, IEC, and other relevant safety standards.
• Establish internal quality assurance processes that align with industry-leading practices, including those used by GE.
• Work closely with product development, manufacturing, and suppliers to integrate safety and compliance requirements into product design and production.
• Conduct risk assessments and failure analysis on products, identifying potential hazards and recommending corrective actions.
• Oversee third-party lab testing and certification processes.
• Investigate and resolve safety-related incidents, collaborating with customer support and legal teams as needed.
• Train internal teams on product safety best practices and compliance standards.
• Monitor and stay updated on evolving safety regulations, standards, and industry trends.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in product safety, quality assurance, or compliance, preferably in lighting or consumer electronics.
• Certified Quality Engineer is a MUST
• In-depth knowledge of safety standards such as UL, IEC, CE, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
• Experience with failure analysis, safety testing methodologies, and remediation strategies for non-compliant products.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop risk mitigation strategies.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with product development, engineering, and compliance
• Work based in Dongguan
