We calculate the internationally recognised Hang Seng Index (HSI) and Hang Seng China Enterprises Index (HSCEI) and continue to broaden our index range to meet a wide spectrum of investor demand for different index investment solutions. At present, we compile over 1,000 real-time and daily indexes covering both Hong Kong and mainland China.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our company as Product Strategist - ETF.

Principal responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategy for our ETF business and be accountable for the revenue from ETFs
• Envision and collaborate with other teams to facilitate the development of a comprehensive ecosystem for our indexes, leading to more adoption cases among clients
• Internally, work very closely with Client Coverage team and partner with other teams including marketing, product development, client service teams to achieve the business goals
• Externally, proactively engage stakeholders, including exchanges, regulators, asset management companies and other market participants to promote and facilitate the use of Hang Seng Family of Indexes for ETFs across different markets
• Keep abreast of global ETF market developments to identify trends and opportunities to ensure our ETF licensing regime meet market needs

Requirements

• University degree with at least 15 years of experience in banking and financial industry, in-depth knowledge about ETF operations and ETFs
• Proven track record of managing ETF business, driving revenue growth and enhancing market adoption
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills to engage and influence stakeholders effectively
• Solid understanding of ETFs and relevant market regulations
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua)
• Strong problem solving, negotiation, presentation skills with experience in working with executive level
• Strong sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
