Description

• Source and procure food products (fresh, frozen, and packaged goods) from local and international suppliers to meet company standards and client demands.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality compliance.
• Monitor market trends, product availability, and pricing to identify sourcing opportunities and optimize inventory.
• Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of products to global markets.
• Conduct supplier onboarding, including training on company standards, compliance, and documentation requirements.
• Perform regular supplier performance reviews and provide feedback to improve quality and efficiency.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and inventory status.
• Coordinate with quality assurance teams to ensure products meet safety, regulatory, and client specifications.
• Support new product launches by managing vendor relationships and ensuring smooth supply chain operations.
• Provide flexible backup support to the procurement and logistics teams as needed.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Food Science, or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in food merchandising, procurement, or supply chain roles, preferably in trading, wholesale, or retail industries.
• Proven track record in supplier negotiations and managing international supply chains.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, FDA, or equivalent) and import/export processes.
• Strong analytical skills for market analysis and cost optimization.
