Our client is a well-established corporation, with Asia head office in Hong Kong and a strong international presence.

To support their HR shared services function, they are looking for a seasoned, sophisticated, independent HR Manager to manage their shard services team currently with 7 people supporting the function.

To support their HR shared services function, they are looking for a seasoned, sophisticated, independent HR Manager, familiar with complex and matrixed organizations, to manage their shard services team currently with 7 people supporting the function.

Description

  • Lead the Shared Services team and provide guidance and directions to ensure smooth delivery of entire employee life cycle from recruitment, onboarding, benefits process, employee data management, payroll management, international mobility, visa applications, offboarding, etc. with a high volume of ins & outs
  • Oversees People Services team in Hong Kong and Macau, including staffing, planning and assigning work to team members, handling escalations, trouble-shooting and performance management.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of delivery by regularly auditing and implementing checking mechanisms and quality controls.
  • Review and standardize job instructions, process, and systems documentation.
  • Analyze internal process and procedures and formulate and recommend proper changes and process streamlining as needed
  • Performs work that involves conventional HR practices but may include a variety of complex situations and issues.

Profile

  • Degree holder in Human Resources / Business Management or related disciplines
  • At least 8 years of HR operational experience with at least 5 years in a team leader/ manager role, leading a team of minimum 5 members
  • Candidates with working experience in sizable, matrixed and complex organization, regional experience is advantageous
  • Familiar with Hong Kong labour ordinance and regulations
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese with strong communications, interpersonal and presentation skills to work in a multinational environment
  • Detailed-minded, process focused and well organized, able to handle high volume of HR operation transactions
  • Positive, people oriented and a good team player
