Job Purpose:

To provide leadership for fundraising team in Communications & Resource Development (CRD) and manage the Major Giving Team. S/he works closely with the Department Head and Senior Manager to lead the development and execution of resource development strategies, specifically for Trusts and Foundation and High Net-Worth Individuals (HNWI), through analyzing the local and global and market trends. S/he will ensure the delivery of effective operations and drive implementation and action to achieve the annual fundraising targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Senior Resource Development Manager to develop and implement effective resource development strategies for Major Giving, focusing on Trusts, Foundations, and HNWIs.
  • Identify new opportunities for major gifts and create tailored approaches for different donor segments.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and support to the Major Giving team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Manage key donor relationships, design and implement donor recognition programs and stewardship activities
  • Collaborate with various service teams across the organization to ensure that fundraising initiatives are in sync with program goals and organizational objectives.
  • Oversee the development of fundraising budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure the cost-effective allocation of resources.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably in Business Development, Marketing or Resources Development
  • Minimum 5 years post-graduation and relevant working experience, in which at least 3 years managerial level in marketing, business development, fundraising or related business fields
  • NGO-related experience, or with knowledge and practical skills on different fundraising tactics including Corporate Partnerships / Fundraising Campaigns & Events will have advantages
  • Excellent command of both written and oral English, Chinese / Cantonese / Putonghua
  • Mature personality, strategic-minded with vision, strong interpersonal, decision-making, management, and leadership skills.
  • Familiar with the operational environment and culture of nonprofit organizations
