Cathay Subsidiary Services consists of several independent departments that provides professional services to Cathay Pacific Airways Limited and its subsidiaries (the ‘Company’), including but not limited to Cathay Cargo Terminal ('CCT'), Cathay Pacific Catering Services (H.K.) Limited (‘CPCS’), Hong Kong Airport Services Limited (‘HAS’) and Vogue Laundry Service Limited (‘VLS’).

Safety and Operational Risk Department, Cathay Subsidiary Services provides services to Cathay Pacific Airways Limited and its subsidiaries (the ‘Company’), including but not limited to Cathay Cargo Terminal, Cathay Dining, Hong Kong Airport Services Limited. and Vogue Laundry Service Limited.

Responsibilities

• Manage regular ESG data collection, analysis, review for continuous process enhancement, and preparation of various reports including sections under Group Sustainable Development Report and subsidiaries Sustainable Development Highlights
• Assist to monitor, analysis and communicate sustainability performances through reports and presentations
• Assist in the formulation and implementation of sustainable development strategies, plans and initiatives across all subsidiaries in line with Group objectives
• Prepare for internal and external compliance audits including HK Airport Authority carbon audits, airline sustainability-related audits, ISO 14001 and IATA Environmental Assessment (IEnvA)
• Identify and assist in projects that enhance subsidiaries' sustainability performances
• Conduct research on latest global and regional sustainability initiatives/ trends related to the industries associated with subsidiaries
• Engage internal and external stakeholders to promote and drive sustainability initiatives

Requirements

• Degree holder in Environmental Science/Management, Environmental Engineering. Sustainability Management or any related discipline
• Minimum 4 years relevant work experience in Environmental Management or Sustainability
• Knowledge in carbon accounting, sustainability reporting standards, ISO 14001 management system audit, would be an advantage
• Experience working in consulting environment is preferred
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Independent, well-organised, proactive team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
