This opening is a replacement role within a well structured Business Development team within a top tier international law firm.

Our client is a top tier international law firm with a strong market share in corporate practices such as M&A, Capital Market, Funds, and Litigation.

Description

This role will report directly to the Head of Business Development and Marketing and work closely with Partners across the region and the global business development team.

You will actively participate in the planning processes of the team and efficiently execute Business Development (BD) plans across Asia.

The core part of the team's deliverable is pitch & proposal. The team will further support lawyers to follow up on leads through meeting preparation which includes background research and talking points. With existing key clients, the team will provide strategic recommendation in client growth by staying abreast of market trends. Hence BD activities will involve research and analysis work.

Marketing communications duties will include announcements and publications, seminars, networking events, and social media (including LinkedIn & WeChat)

The main coverage will include Capital Markets and Investment Funds practice areas.

Profile

The entrance requirement of the role is a bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of business development/marketing experience in professional services industry. Law firm experience is preferred. Candidates with 4-6 years of experience can be considered for the Senior Coordinator role. The candidate must be fluent in Mandarin & English, with excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills at all levels of the firm.

Candidates who show passion to grow in knowledge and expertise in respective practice areas and markets would have a higher chance of successes.
