About our role

We are now looking for a talented Building Manager to be part of our dynamic team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Building Management, the customer-centric incumbent is to assist in overseeing day-to-day operation and building management within the portfolio. He/She is responsible for managing and monitoring the performance of building management team and contractors as well as other operational concerns.

Responsibilities will include:

• Handle budget preparation and control, tendering procedures for service contract renewal
• Liaise with customers and tenants on their specific requirements
• Coordinate with internal team for new project development in pre-management and handover stage
• Attend emergencies
• Manage different projects including but not limited to social responsibility events, sustainability assessment, health and safety enforcement and assist various audits’ certification
• Support staff recruitment and training issues

Together with creativity, integrity and passion, our ideal staff should be:

• Higher Diploma / Associate Degree holder or above in Property Management, Facility Management or related discipline
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in security and building management, especially on-site practice with prestigious commercial buildings
• Achieves results, even under tough circumstances
• Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
• Adapts approach and demeanour in a timely manner to match the shifting demands of different situations
• Knowledge and experience in pre-management and handover stage of new development projects is an advantage
• Professional qualification with Institute of Housing or holder of PMP (Tier 1) license preferred
• Holder of valid Security Personnel Permit; first aid certificate is an advantage
• Strong role modeling and able to lead by examples
• Outstanding supervisory and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in PC skills such as MS Office
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese
