Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Collaborate with vendors to understand their capabilities, negotiate contracts, and manage service level agreements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to identify and evaluate vendor needs, and provide recommendations for vendor selection.
  • Monitor vendor performance, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and resolving any issues or disputes that may arise.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in vendor management processes.
  • Plan, organize, and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, timelines, and budgets.
  • Utilize strong project management skills to define project objectives, develop detailed project plans, and establish key milestones and deliverables.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
  • Design and develop systems and technical specifications.
  • Oversee the maintenance and optimization of supported systems, ensuring high availability and performance, including operating procedures, user guides, and knowledge base articles.
  • Support regular system audits and assessments to ensure compliance with security policies, data protection regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to supported systems.
  • Standby support for emergency production incidents and provide firefighting support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5-year experience in IT environment, especially in banking/finance industry.
  • Proven experience in vendor management, including contract negotiation and performance monitoring.
  • Strong knowledge in Tomcat, Linux and related technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Familiar with SDLC and Agile development is added advantage.
