The role:

• Analyse business needs, identify pain points, workout innovative solutions and then transform into project initiatives, comprehensive specifications, and business proposal
• Recommend appropriate technology solutions to write up the business case
• Source appropriate vendors at the corporate’s best interest of investment
• Execute vendor management to deliver the solution excellence
• Prioritize the projects and developments that are essential to the Company’s fit for growth
• Assist to formulate smart mobility strategy for the company
• Oversee UI/UX, workflow & business rules, development & installation, test, commissioning & rollout of enhancement and brand-new smart mobility and on-bus digital products
• Oversee the content update of route information & fare database and deployment to buses
• Monitor for operations of mobile apps, website and on-board passenger info systems
• Project management with internal and external vendors
• Explore new technology, new business models and opportunities in smart mobility
• Assist in various tasks assigned based on department’s needs

Skills and attributes:

• Bachelor degree in IT, Transport-related subjects, or Business Administration
• At least 7 years or above experience in technology or transport related disciplines
• Aware of latest technology solutions to enable the business with good business senses
• Understanding in IT infrastructure, Applications and Development
• Experience in managing technological projects from inception to implementation to achieve business transformation
• Experience in UI/UX design, Web application, Mobile apps, mobility devices, map and geo-data spatial tools, improving customers experience would be an advantage
• Understand public transport and smart mobility ecosystem in Hong Kong and overseas would be an asset
• Knowledge and experience in on-bus digital, automatic fare collection, fleet management, smart mobility products or R&D are bonus
• Highly motivated self-starter with a creative mind
• Entrepreneurship in building relationships with vendors
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Decisive with good leadership ability
• Strong communication, reporting and presentation skills
