Client Details

Our client is a well-known Insurance company in Hong Kong

To cope with their business growth, they are currently hiring a Data Science Engineer (ML, NLP) to develop and scale innovative NLP/ML/DL algorithms to normalize data insights from unstructured data. Also, develop data pipelines and ETL to perform advanced analytics, which focusing on customer, marketing & sales journey. And informing the business decisions of the group.

Description

• Work closely with business teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions that drive growth
• Delivering Machine learning model end to end
• Write test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of the code/ model
• Design and develop Machine Learning/ Natural Language Processing/ Deep Learning models to inform business decisions
• Develop and scale innovative ML/ML/DL algorithms to data insights from unstructured data
• Develop and maintain documentation of AI models, algorithms, and applications

Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics or relevant disciplines
• At least 5+ years experience in data science and Advanced Analytics
• Experience in ML, NLP, DL development and implementation
• Experience with at least one machine learning library (Keras, Tensorflow, Caffe, or PyTorch)
• Hands-on with Python
• Hands-on experience in NLP, NER, Entity Disambiguation, and Information Extraction.
• Experience in any large Public Cloud platform (AWS/ Azure/ GCP) is a plus
• Hands-on GenAI business application experience a plus
• Good understanding of data crawling, extracting, and processing (Scrapy, pandas, Map Reduce, SQL, Beautiful Soup, etc)
• Good understanding of Linux/UNIX, HTTP, HTML, JavaScript
• Candidates from financial services, insurance, banking, and investment background is a plus
• Strong communication skills in Chinese and English (both spoken and written)
