Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of software developers, provide technical guidance and support, hands-on support to internal and external parties throughout the software development life cycle to ensure successful project delivery
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop innovative solutions, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.
• Manage vendors to ensure quality in deliverables of products and services on time
• Conduct design / code reviews, provide constructive feedback to team members, ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance principles.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing applications
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, tools, and trends in the industry, proactively recommend their adoption to enhance development processes and drive continuous improvement.

Job Specifications

• University or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, E-commerce or related disciplines
• Minimum 8 years of experience in full life-cycle software development (includes analysis, architecture, and design documentation)
• Knowledge of infrastructure, data structures, system design, and algorithms
• Strong knowledge in Retail / F&B related digital solutions, such as Mobile App, E-commerce and CRM Applications and Web development
• Hands-on experience in mobile app and web development, with proficiency in frameworks and programming languages such as React, React Native, Node.js, Java, PHP, Python, and .NET.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g. Azure, AWS) and databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Understanding of CI/CD solutions (e.g., GitHub, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins), version control, automated testing, and monitoring tools (e.g. Kibana and Dynatrace)
• Experience in application support and maintenance, incident troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution would be an advantage
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a flexible and dynamic environment
• Effective communication and collaboration skills in both Cantonese and English
• Prior working experience in F&B industry will be a plus
