Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Chief Mechanical Engineer, the appointee will mainly perform the following responsibilities:

• To assist the Chief Mechanical Engineer / Senior Manager (Construction Management) in preparation and execution of projects/works
• To assist in conducting conceptual design, budget, programme and technical specification for the building services / power development projects
• To provide support in tender evaluation and recommendation
• To liaise and coordinate with relevant internal parties, contractors and other external parties including government authorities and public stakeholders or project matters
• To carry out quality control including inspection/testing and goods receiving at construction sites including those of Lamma Power Station and Hong Kong Island

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience
• Familiar with relevant local and international regulations, procedures, standards and codes of practice
• Proficient in computer applications including MS Office, AutoCAD, BIM, et
• Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written

Candidate with less relevant experience may be considered for the position of Engineer II or Engineer III.
