• Inspect samples and make sure they are correct before delivery
• Sourcing of products and vendors, price negotiation, order co-ordination

Client Details

My client an international retailer is looking for a fabric specialist that is experience in sports fashion.

Description

• Handle fabric library, sourcing, sampling and orders follow-up
• Engage with internal stake holders in the development approval process for tight timelines
• Collect the update material price from supplier & review with manager for analysis
• Conduct supplier evaluation and proposals comparison, and negotiate with suppliers for competitive price and terms
• Co-ordinate with internal supporting teams to ensure the quality requirements

Profile

• At least 4 - 7 years' apparel merchandising experience
• Strong product knowledge for in woven & knit categories
• Experienced in handling sample development, production follow-up till to product delivery
• Strong negotiation and problem solving skills
