Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Provide application support for the Futures businesses
  • Be responsible for system maintenance and operations
  • Monitor and ensure the reliability, performance and stability of business systems
  • Work closely with various departments to ensure the successful implementation of IT projects to meet business needs
  • Support enhancement projects, systems updates and maintenance activities
  • Support project management and vendor management
  • Prepare documentation, reports and training materials based on users requirement
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Futures applications

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or IT related disciplines
  • Around 5 years relevant experience in application support from banking/FI, preferably in trading systems
  • Strong project management and vendor management capabilities are required, with proven track record in system deployment and vendor management
  • Experience in global Futures systems setup/operation will be advantageous, i.e., ION/FIS/ESunny etc.
  • Familiar with at least one program language, e.g., Python
  • Understanding of derivative market and its operations is an advantage
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin is a must
