Key Responsibilities

Offer timely legal advice on financial services and regulatory matters
Assist with legal drafting and policy initiatives.
Identify and escalate urgent legal issues.
Enhance legal services through best practices and technology.
Maintain collaborative relationships with other divisions.
Prepare documents for the Board and serve as a legal advisor to committees.
Implement policies to ensure compliance and effective service delivery.
Participate in ongoing risk management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and current practicing certificate from a common law jurisdiction.
Minimum 8 years of legal experience, preferably in financial services regulation.
Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
