Commercial Banking – Corporate Banking Client Coverage

Hang Seng’s Commercial Banking business provides customized one-stop financial solutions to our corporate customers, from prime small and medium-sized businesses to publicly listed companies.

For customers conducting business locally or around the world, we offer a comprehensive range of services including corporate lending, trade and receivables finance, structured loan, cash management, investment, treasury services, insurance and e-Banking services. As a reliable financial partner, we attend to the specific business needs of our customers and provide efficient tailor-made banking solutions through our relationship managers and dedicated specialists.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Syndicated Finance and Corporate Advisory Manager – Loan Documentation.

Principal responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and review of loan documentation for syndication loans, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate effectively with various internal departments to facilitate smooth communication and coordination on loan documentation matters
• Assist to manage the loan agency process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all necessary documentation and execution.
• Assist in the implementation of best practices for loan documentation processes.
• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including credit and risk teams, legal teams, compliance teams and relationship management teams, to ensure alignment on documentation requirements.

Requirements

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance or related disciplines
• Proven experience in syndication loans and relevant structured finance
• Proven track record in loans syndication field with high level market contacts, and familiar with the Greater China market landscape
• Ability to deliver strategic initiatives to stay ahead of the competition
• Ability to work with multi-stakeholders, influence and operate effectively in a highly matrix environment
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English, Cantonese and Putonghua
• Good interpersonal skills and a team player, with leadership capabilities
• High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers
• Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
