Responsibilities

• Responsible for driving and implementing the business strategies for investment business and coaching the marketing staff of Wholesale Banking Division by associated fee-generating products
• Guide and coach marketing staff of Wholesale Banking Division on structuring and selling suitable investment and banking solutions to clients
• Collaborate closely with Investment Product Advisory Department, being the Bank’s investment product owner to stay updated on the latest investment ideas and hot picks, enabling the delivery of professional advice to marketing staff.
• Obtain market intelligence to facilitate product development with Investment Product Advisory Department
• Handle ad-hoc projects assigned by the Department and Division as needed.

Requirements

• University graduate or with professional qualifications such as CFP or CFA
• Minimum of 5 years' banking experience; prior experience as an Investment Consultant will be a definite advantage
• Sound knowledge of asset allocation & investment products (e.g. equities, structured deposits, unit trusts, bonds and treasury products, insurances, etc.)
• Pass in the Hong Kong Securities Institute Licensing Examination or an Exempted / Qualified Securities Dealer required, with a pass in the Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examinations an advantage
• Relavent HKIB qualficaition would be an advantage
• Strong self-motivation, able to work independently and under pressure
• Good understanding of relevant selling procedures, practices, rules and sales compliance requirements
• Good command of spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua as well as written English and Chinese
