Responsibilities

• Responsible for Hong Kong and some regional country Taxes compliance matters, including but not limited to annual profit tax filing, tax provision, income tax forecast and budget control etc.
• Handle enquiries from external tax authorities and internal tax audits, provide supporting documents and liaise the best outcomes.
• Review overseas subsidiaries tax reports and returns to provide recommendation on direct tax and indirect tax controls improvement, document key transaction tax policies and compliance procedures to mitigate tax risk.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of tax rulings, recommend, implement, and maintain business solution in accordance with various business scenarios especially with the new business initiatives. Support the team to perform tax advisory functions to the business units and review new businesses and products.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to keep abreast of rules and regulations on tax across different jurisdictions and understand their implications on the Group. Prepare monthly report and analysis for the senior management.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant with HKICPA or ACCA or any organized regulatory accounting bodies.
• No less than 5 years' solid experience in taxation, preferably gained from professional accounting firms.
• Familiar with tax regulations, filing process, payment and appeal procedures and master the latest trends in the international taxation update such as the BEPS. Experience in using ERP system is an advantage.
• Good leadership, interpersonal skills and effective communication with business units.
• Good command of spoken and written Mandarin, Cantonese and English.
• Strong ability in writing report and preparation of PPT.
• This position requires mobility and the flexibility to undertake business trips or relocations across different regions and countries.
