APAC Vendor Development Manager
We're hiring a strategic Vendor Development Manager specializing in leading chip manufacturers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) partnerships to drive efficient procurement and supplier excellence in our dynamic supply chain team.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sourcing strategies for leading chip manufacturers and OEM suppliers., focusing on quality, cost, and timely delivery to align with business goals.
Collaborate with sales teams to define requirements and ensure seamless integration of OEM-sourced materials/services.
Identify, evaluate, and select OEM vendors through market research, RFPs, RFQs, and competitive bidding processes.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with OEM partners to secure favorable deals and minimize risks.
Build and maintain strong relationships with OEM suppliers, conducting regular performance reviews and fostering collaboration for continuous improvement.
Analyze procurement data and spend to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate supply chain disruptions.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, or business-related disciplines.
5+ years of experience in sourcing or procurement, with at least 3 years focused on OEM suppliers in manufacturing, and semiconductor sectors.
Proven track record in vendor negotiation, contract management, and building supplier networks.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in PC including Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Experience in global or APAC sourcing preferred.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving.
