Responsibilities
1. Investment Accounting & Reporting
Oversee investment registers and transaction accuracy.
Review monthly investment journals and reports.
Report investment-related issues to CFO.
2. Financial Reporting & Consolidation
Assist in preparing consolidated financial and management reports, forecasts, and budgets.
Maintain reconciled balance sheet schedules and ensure ledger accuracy.
Support annual audits and preparation of audited financial statements.
3. Tax & Compliance
Assist with tax computations and regulatory compliance.
Support company secretarial duties and internal audits.
Ensure timely submission of audited accounts to relevant authorities.
4. Team Supervision & Process Management
Supervise accounting teams in general accounting, AP, fixed assets, and costing.
Prepare work schedules for month-end and year-end closing activities.
5. Asset & Contract Management
Oversee periodic physical inspections of fixed assets.
Safeguard contracts and ensure proper documentation.
6. Financial Analysis
Perform financial analysis to support management decisions.
7. Insurance & Risk Management
Maintain and update insurance policy records.
8. Continuous Improvement
Recommend process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
Resolve finance-related issues and handle ad-hoc projects.
