Assistant Landscape Manager (Arboricultural projects & horticulture maintenance)

Responsibilities:

• Explore new business opportunities, drive company business, cultivate innovative solutions, and communicate closely with main contractors, consultants, and property/facility management offices
• Manage tender bidding, costing, and pricing support; proposal preparation; attend tender briefings and interviews; develop tender strategies with related parties; and regularly review and analyze results
• Oversee arboricultural and landscaping projects plus horticultural maintenance, including budgeting and implementation with hands-on daily operations
• Prepare material submission, method statement, presentation, improvement plan, quotation, and other project/report submissions
• Monitor contract management, project progress, and site inspection; attend regular meetings with clients to ensure keeping up good quality of operations and services
• Lead work teams and subcontractors, drive improvements of performance efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Liaise with external and internal parties to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations as well as project requirements
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as required

Requirements:

• Degree holder in arboriculture, horticulture, forestry, botany, landscape management, biological science, environmental science, or equivalent disciplines
• Minimum 5 years’ solid experience in tendering, project, and contract management in landscaping, horticultural, and arboricultural fields, plus staff supervision
• Possesses of Certified Arborist Certificate, Tree Risk Assessment Qualification, Tree Work Supervisor Registration, or other equivalent qualifications are an advantage
• Business-oriented with effective negotiation skills, able to deal with the diversity of projects positively, and work under pressure to meet tight schedules
• Self-motivated, business-oriented with strong analytical, project, and contract management skills
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese
• Proficient in MS Office applications, knowledge of computer graphics, and technical design is preferred
• Candidates with more experience and remarkable performance records will be considered as Landscape Manager
